A condition of the grant is attendance at our Healthy Skin Symposium and Information Workshop for Successful Applicants.
The Healthy Skin Symposium will be an important introduction to Crusted Scabies and guide to the Healthy Skin program.
The Information Workshop will provide information on ways to create and maintain Scabies Free Zones and an opportunity to discuss your projects.
On a case-by-case basis, the additional costs for a support person to attend the workshop and symposium with the successful applicant will also be met by One Disease.
Symposium and Workshop Dates
Healthy Skin Symposium – Tuesday, 13 November 2018
Information Workshop – Wednesday, 14 November 2018
Both the Symposium and Workshop will be held on Thursday, 15 November.
Further details will be provided to successful applicants by early November, who will be able to choose the location, either Alice Springs or Tennant Creek.
This program directly supports our mission, which is to eliminate Crusted Scabies from Australia by 2022 by working in partnership with Indigenous Australians.
The Australian Government Department of Health has supported this initiative.
