Dr Sam Prince is the founding director and chair of One Disease. He is a humanitarian, philanthropist, entrepreneur and a medical doctor. His success in both business and aid work stems from his ability to clearly visualize gaps in environments, innovating practical solutions to seemingly vast problems which are implemented by the force of his willpower. His genuine passion has always inspired others to believe and follow him in his vision.
In addition to One Disease, Sam is involved in a number of other endeavours. He is the Founding Director of Zambrero, a humanitarian organization that is also a healthy Mexican food franchise. The humanitarian arm of Zambrero is an initiative called ‘Plate 4 Plate’ where for every plate of food sold at Zambrero, a plate of food is provided to someone in need. Sam is also the Founding Director of Mejico, filling the gap for high-end Mexican food in Sydney and now expanding globally and the Founder of Life Letters, an Australian company specialising in genetic testing.
For his success in business and philanthropy Sam has been awarded the Young Australian of the Year ACT 2012 award, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 award and is a Monash University Distinguished Alumni.
